Treibball

IMG_0180.jpg.webp

Treibball (pronounced “try-ball”) was originally developed by January Nijboer in Germany as a game that would occupy herding dogs. It isn’t well known in the UK yet but has a growing community of people who’s dogs love to play!

The game consists of “herding” a number of large inflatable exercise balls into a small football goal. Of course the herding breeds come to mind, but it’s also great for many of the prey-oriented sporting dogs and terriers, and any other dogs who just like to chase things.
