Canine Hoopers

Hoopers is a low impact sport for dogs and handlers that involves directing the dog around a course from one position. It aims to be an inclusive dog sport making sure that it is accessible to all dogs and handlers, in particular large and tiny breeds, dogs which require a little extra space, patience or understanding and also to handlers with limited mobility.
Dogs are taught to run a course through sets of hoops, through tunnels and around barrels. The emphasis is on distance handling, with bonus points awarded to teams that can complete a course with mimimal handler movements.

I run two types of class for Hoopers, as either an 8 week block course or a pay as you go class. The course runs in blocks where clients can hold their place for as long as they want and if they wish to relinquish their spot, it is advertised for the next person. Hoopers club runs as 'pay per class' where first come is first served for a spot on each individual class. Please see availability and details below:
