Dog Training Classes & 121 Support
Located in Penarth, Barry, Sully, Dinas Powys, Wenvoe and Cardiff.
Please see individual class for exact location.
My training ethos for dogs is centred around creating mutual understanding for both dog and owner. I want to help you create a strong and trusting bond while achieving your training goals.
All classes are kept small (5-6 dogs per class) to ensure you get quality time with me and to create an environment both you and your dog can prosper in and not feel overwhelmed.
My 121 training programmes are tailored to you and can be at your home or out on your local walks.
I use reward based training methods with a focus on setting you and your dog up to succeed. You will learn fun and engaging ways to train your dog or that are achievable and realistic.
Training Club
A general training class for mixed ages (from puppy to golden oldie) and abilities. If you're looking for a way to progress your training or want to do something fun and structured with your dog, this is the class for you! Each class will involve training games, practical tips and trainer guidance to improve your bond and progress your individual training goals.
In classes I will cover a variety of topics:
-
focus and engagement
- lead walking
- recall
- manners
- impulse control
- settling and socialisation
I limit the classes to 5-6 dogs to make sure I can offer you the optimum learning environment and a personal experience.
Level Up Sessions
Level UP is a structured on-lead session with a focus on building your dog's engagement with you and practice life skills in the real world. Each session is in a different location in either Barry, Dinas Powys, Penarth, Sully or Rhoose. Each class will be dynamic depending on where we are and what real life distractions are around to train with.
This class is ideal for dogs that need a confidence boost or are struggling with self control. This class is also the perfect stepping stone to helping you transition your skills into the world.
Limited to 6 dogs.
Classes are held monthly on Saturday mornings.
